Western Bonelli's warbler is a small passerine bird that breeds in the warm deciduous woodlands around the Mediterranean. The species is migratory, wintering in a narrow belt along the southern edge of Sahara.
It is named after Franco Andrea Bonelli, an Italian ornithologist.
